Chains with a pitch of 1/2″ (p = 12.7mm)
The common characteristic of these roller chains is their identical pitch dimension p (pin centre to pin centre) = 12.7 mm (= 1/2 inch). They are thus often colloquially called „half-inch chains“. But this may lead to misunderstandings as the long list of different chain series suggests.
